After a bit of a break from doing Inspiration Board posts, I really enjoyed putting together today’s collage, which is probably as much about escapism and daydreaming as it is about inspiration. It’s made up of my own photos, pictures from The Simple Things magazine, and bits and pieces from Pinterest. There’s also a picture of Lundy Island, where Andrew and I are going in July. We’ve been loving looking at the Landmark Trust’s website, which has hundreds of amazing properties around the country to stay in. I love the look of some of the Scottish properties, so hopefully we’ll make it up there soon too!

Recently, there are two things really inspiring me: nature and the outdoors, and some of the lovely bright, natural home trends around at the moment. I’m very much in a nesting phase lately, and lots of my dreams of the perfect home focus around a flow between indoors and outdoors. I guess that’s why I’m so attracted to some of the Landmark properties, and why I chose to use some of the pictures of Keith Stephenson and Mark Hampshire’s seaside home (featured in the Simple Things magazine) in today’s board.
