I recently self-published my first book , The Joy Scrapbook, which is available on Amazon in paperback and on Kindle.
The Joy Scrapbook is a personal collection of thoughts and quotes about embracing life’s joy. In it, you will find reflections on faith, nature and the practicalities of day-to-day life, drawing on inspiration from a range of books, poetry, music and Bible passages. As we move through the book, we acknowledge that human life is threaded with both joy and pain, but we find hope that, whatever our circumstances, joy can be a profound and real part of our lives.
Each chapter of The Joy Scrapbook takes the reader through a particular topic and reflects on how it can help us to embrace joy. These thoughts are followed by opportunities for the reader to reflect in their own ‘Joy Journal’.
In a world that can often feel sad and overwhelming, this book could be the breath of fresh air you need. There is no toxic positivity or naivety here, just a space for us all to acknowledge life’s pain and savour life’s joy.
I am offering workshops based on the material in the book. See below for details.
