This week, I’ve been…
*Reading: This beautiful post about persevering in our relationships, The 100 Year Old Man who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared, and The Kinfolk Table: Recipes for Small Gatherings.
*Listening to: The soundtrack to Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. I bought it ages ago but keep coming back to it! It’s a very thoughtfully put together soundtrack and surprisingly upbeat.
*Watching: Elysium – very intense, but a great action film and it makes you think about the injustice in the world. See the trailer here. We also saw Thor: The Dark World last weekend, which was fun to watch.
*Eating: Halloumi & Aubergine Flatbread at Harris & Hoole – they are so much better than some of the more well known coffee shops, with great coffee, fresh food, reasonable prices and a community ethos.
*Thinking about: Eating with friends and community living – more on this in a separate post!
*Looking at: Andrew’s childhood collection of coins, toy cars and other bits and pieces π It’s so sweet to look back on childhood, and so interesting to know what other people’s childhood loves were.
*Enjoying:Β Dog walks, a lazy Saturday morning, spending ages reading and drinking coffee, and this warm spring sunshine we’ve been getting.
Hope you’ve all had a good week π
