This week, there have been one or two ‘big things’ making me happy!
We’ve been celebrating two anniversaries this weekend with our family in beautiful North Devon. My Grandparents have been married for 55 years, and my parents for 30 years, and both are such good examples of the partnership that marriage can be. It was a great excuse to be in our lovely Devon too, and to catch up with family.
Then there have been lots of other big and little things too, making life good…
*A car journey with Andrew AND my brother AND my sister! I don’t know why but car journeys are always better when there are more of you!
*Seeing Andrew’s parents, and leaving Jamie in their capable hands! He loves staying with them and they are so kind taking care of him for us and spoiling him even more than we do!
*Finding this Fair Trade site which sells clothes, jewellery etc. I’ve got my eye on a t-shirt, the notebooks, and the CD!
*Having time to read – look out for posts on Home for Good, True Confidence, Love Wins and The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed out of the Window and Disappeared very soon 🙂
*Having things to look forward to! I’ve been organised and have a planner on my wall, and, although I have loads of work ahead and it could be a little stressful, I have lots to look forward to as well. Each month there are meetups with loved ones planned, and I know those times will provide the refreshment I need to give it my all at work.
What are you looking forward to this year?
