Another week has flown by, and the moments spent savouring the Small Things have remained as all-important as ever to me. Here are some of them…
*Weekend pancakes and coffee.
*Weekend baking.
*Quiet evenings reading and watching TV.
*Hanging out with my church group, who so make me laugh and always ask how I am.
*Looking at a Bible passage with my group – it was so relevant and applicable to our day to day lives. In the last few weeks, I’ve felt my positivity ebbing away, but this little chapter helped to restore it a bit.
*Pre-ordering Shauna Niequist’s new book, Savor.
*Listening to some good music: one of this week’s favourites has been Still by The Japanese House.
*Hearing Andrew’s guitar playing drifting down the stairs.
*Getting to catch up with my family for Mother’s Day.
*Watching the new series of Troy – not to be missed!
*Finishing Following Atticus, by Tom Ryan. I love that it it is a true story and still has a very poetic happy ending!
‘Magic is where you find it; the only thing that matters is that you take the time to look for it.’
Tom Ryan in Following Atticus.
