Home

Last month I posted a series of pieces on ‘Home’ by various people around the UK. Everyone had different views but one thing was abundantly clear – it is important to have a place to call home among people you can be at home with. Today, there are thousands of people who have had their homes flattened and their loved ones taken by Typhoon Haiyan. It is hard for us to imagine – the storms we recently experienced were nowhere near as powerful, and most of our homes are so much stronger than those in the Philippines.

If you want to donate to aid efforts in the Philippines, please follow this link to Christian Aid’s website. They already have partners on the islands, helping get people to shelter, so that they can eventually start to rebuild their lives.
