So this week I have three sweet little pictures 🙂
On Saturday I organised a Gardening Session and Cream Tea for families. The only problem was, it was tipping it down! No children turned up to brave the torrents but the four of us who had arrived to help decided to head out anyway. We were going to Lesley’s allotment(s) – which are by far the most impressive allotments I’ve ever seen. We came back with armfuls and bucketfuls and bagfuls of potatoes, carrots, raspberries, courgettes, beetroots and more. We admired her other produce too – huge onions, pumpkins, lettuces… the list goes on. Perhaps the best thing was having our freshly picked raspberries on the scones I had made and drinking tea and chatting 🙂 Two pictures from that day:
On Sundays, I help run a family cafe church. It was great yesterday, chatting to people who had been away, seeing the children enjoy the songs and their craft activity. Here are two of the children with theirs:
